Did you know Queenslanders go through 2.7 billion drink containers each year? We’ve created a way to recycle those containers which means change for Queensland and your pocket. This app is a handy companion to help you cash in and recycle your eligible containers at Containers for Change refund points. It’s packed with features to make recycling through the scheme easier.

Check container eligibility
Use the barcode scanner to check whether a container is eligible for a 10 cent refund through the scheme. The app also has a quick reference guide on the types of containers that are eligible for a refund.

Track your refund history
Keep track of your recycling progress with updates on your returned containers, total refunds and transaction history. You can also check how Queensland is doing overall.

Access your scheme ID
Quickly access your scheme ID quickly and easily when you arrive at a container refund point. The barcode can be scanned at refund points with a scanner.

Save your favourite charity or community group
Donating your next refund? Search the list of registered charities and community groups and save their details to your scheme ID board.

Search for your nearest refund point location and see what type of return options are available. You’ll find key information you need like address and opening hours, you can even get directions straight there.
